An unidentified Florida man barricaded himself inside the Circle K gas station in Naples on Thursday, resulting in SWAT and Collier County deputies responding.

The incident happened Thursday at the Circle K on Dudley Drive in Naples.

According to NBC 2 News, “Collier County deputies and a SWAT team responded to a Circle K in Naples where a wanted felon was barricaded inside the bathroom.

The SWAT team was seen going inside the gas station around 11:15 a.m. wearing gas masks after a loud pop was heard.

According to officials at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, the man was not armed, no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

The man was taken into custody shortly before 11:30 a.m., according to CCSO. The scene cleared around 12:30 p.m.

The man was wanted on a warrant from another jurisdiction, according to the sheriff’s office.

His identity and charges he is facing are unclear.”
