#FloridaMan hides heroin and fentanyl in toilet, forget to flush!
Dennis Stover and Alan Benner found themselves jailed in Charlotte County on Thursday, after deputies found heroin and fentanyl hidden inside of a toilet in the home they were in.
According to NBC 2 News, “the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit began investigating a home that had been linked to suspicious drug activity on Laverne Street since February. Deputies detained multiple people living in the home until the search was over.
During the search, deputies found 3.5 grams of heroin/fentanyl in 39-year-old Dennis Stover’s pocket. When they continued the search, they busted a locked door and found Alan Benner, 41, inside a room with a box that contained 1.34 grams of heroin/fentanyl, numerous plastic baggies, over $800 in US currency, two digital scales, a loaded hypodermic syringe and fentanyl powder.
Deputies recovered a total of 9 grams of heroin/fentanyl from inside the home, which doubles the trafficking amount.
The two men were arrested and are facing drug charges.”
