“Let’s get ready to rumble.” Is probably one of the most recognizable phrases in boxing. Maybe even in sports. It belongs to famed ring announcer Michael Buffer. Buffer was already world famous by the time Stan and Haney interviewed him in 2002. It was also well known that anyone trying to use his famous phrase without permission risked a lawsuit. Buffer talks about that in this interview and also how he got his start in the sport. He adds how his career has expanded into events and even movies.
