Probably best known for her role as Julie Cooper in the long running 70’s and 80’s TV sitcom One Day at a Time. But also as a 12 year old actress in the legendary film American Graffiti. Mackenzie Phillips has had a life of incredible ups and downs. She was the daughter of Papa John Phillips of the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame group The Mama’s and Papa’s. Mackenzie grew up around sex, drugs and the rock elite. In her interview with Stan and Haney in 1998 she talks about all of these things and more. She openly discusses her drug addition, her relationship with her father and fellow TV actors. She discusses her memories of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction of her dad and the reunion of his famous group. Little did we know back then she still had more troubles ahead.

Here from February of 1998 the Stan and Haney interview with Mackenzie Phillips
