A Fort Myers family had an uninvited guest show up during dinner Thursday night. According to NBC-2, the McCaslin family were just starting to eat when all of a sudden a Florida man came barging through the front door. The father of the house said the man was barefoot and dressed in only a bathing suit. Brian McCaslin was at the table with his two teenaged daughters when they thought they heard someone knocking at the door. It turned out there was no knocking, just a stranger who let himself inside. McCaslin said the weird encounter got even weirder when the man started talking and saying he was a ghost and that no one should be able to see him. In fact, the man was shocked that they could actually see him.
McCaslin then started to try to get the man, who said his name was Kevin, to go back out the door he came in. "Kevin" then ran outside past a crew working on cutting down a tree. He got into one of the worker's truck and locked himself inside. After some convincing by the workers, the man got out of the truck and ran off in just his bathing suit.
McCaslin called the Lee County Sheriff's Office to file a report. He doesn't want to press charges, but hopes the deputies can find him and get the ghost the help he obviously needs. If you have any information that would help find the mysterious man, you can make an anonymous tip online for Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers or call 1-800-780-TIPS.
There is no word on whether the McCaslin family shared any of their dinner with "Kevin the Ghost."

Video: Drunk Florida Man Passes Out While Driving His Boat, Narrowly Misses Swimmers On Madeira Beach
I've been boating in Florida a lot and there's one main rule. The driver needs to be sober. I don't care how drunk you get when you get to shore, but drunk boating can get very dangerous. This incident along Madeira Beach in St. Petersburg could have ended much differently.
Not sure how long he had been speeding along slumped over the wheel, but long enough that the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office helicopter was able to get over him and get this video. The boat luckily kept along the shoreline rather than heading to the beach. You can see he was close enough that he went in between the swimmers and the kayaker.
I wish the helicopter would have zoomed in so we could see the looks on the faces of the people on Madeira Beach. I'm sure some of them were just as drunk as the guy driving the boat. Back in high school we called it Mad Beach. Do they still call it that? I have about a week's worth of stories I could tell about that place, but some of the people involved are married and have families now. It wouldn't be right. I'm trying to be respectful, Brenda.
Here's the video
I love the part about the beer can on the deck. Ok, I'll stop. I don't want to spoil it.
So what's the penalty for BWI
I mean, I had to know. So from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department, here's what he can be expecting.
