Fort Myers City Council Approved To Sell Land To Alleged Drug Traffickers
On June 15th, the Fort Myers City Council approved to sell property to two people that are alleged drug traffickers.
The land was approximately worth $4,000, and they only sold it for $500.
The property purchased was bought was part of a city program aimed at rebuilding a neighborhood off of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Ronnie Tape and Devarous Philips are the two men in question.
They were both arrested in a drug sting called operation Block Party earlier in September.
