On June 15th, the Fort Myers City Council approved to sell property to two people that are alleged drug traffickers.

The land was approximately worth $4,000, and they only sold it for $500.

The property purchased was bought was part of a city program aimed at rebuilding a neighborhood off of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Ronnie Tape and Devarous Philips are the two men in question.

They were both arrested in a drug sting called operation Block Party earlier in September.
