Teen Arrested For Violent Home Invasion In North Port
This 17-year-old is starting off his criminal career in a pretty hardcore way.
Corey Button of North Port, Fl, is facing numerous charges after breaking and entering into a home off of Camilla ln. at 4:30 AM and threatening to shoot someone with a gun.
The victim apparently knew Button and they were speaking on the phone just the night before. Button was reportedly snap chatting and calling the victim asking about a Glock 42 firearm that was at the home.
Button then showed up at the home and threatened the victim, chasing him around the yard, demanding that he gives up his Glock 42 and all the other guns that he has.
The victim gave up the Glock 42, a folding rifle, and a chrome revolver.
He is facing charges of burglary of a dwelling while armed, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, grand theft of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a minor.
No injuries were reported.
