LCSO Love Triangle Exposed
A love triangle had recently been exposed at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Michael Fischer believed that his estranged wife had been meeting up with a fellow deputy to have sex. So he put a GPS tracking device on her car that also had a microphone on it.
He noticed that the car had gone to the house of Deputy Joseph Dino.
Dino’s GPS in his patrol cruiser also marked him as passing by the home of Fischer’s wife. And he admitted to turning off the GPS in certain situations to avoid detection.
They would meet up at Bowditch Point Park on Fort Myers Beach to have sex.
During these encounters, Dino was in his marked cruiser.
Fisher was suspended for two days and faces six months of disciplinary probation for violation of procedures and unlawful conduct.
No charges have been pressed against Fischer for the tracking device.
