Man Who Had A Car Crash Through His Bedroom Years Ago Has Another Close Call In Cape Coral

Kenneth Jacobus lives off of the corner of SE 27 Street just off of Country Club Boulevard.
He was surprised when police knocked on his door and told him that a reckless driver took out three trees in his yard and almost hit his home.
The driver who caused all of this damage took off and attempted to hide some of the evidence, while the passenger of the vehicle was injured and had to be taken to the hospital.
“I think the guy-he’s really an as*** to just abandon your friend,” Jacobus said.
This isn’t the first time he’s had a problem with reckless drivers on his property. Years ago a driver crashed into his bedroom.
The driver still has not been located. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Cape Coral Police Department.
