Florida Man Wins $1 Million Lotto Ticket After His Truck Broke Down
Curtis Fuller, 38, walked into a Jacksonville convenience store and bought a $5 scratch-off lottery ticket, and was in for the shock of his life. His ticket ended up being a $1 million winner.
Just days prior to hitting it big, he was down on his luck. He said, “My wife’s car broke down a few days ago and two days after that my truck broke down.”
He drove to Tallahassee Lotto headquarters to pick up his check-in person. He will walk away with $890,000 after taxes.
Him and his wife plan on getting new trucks and a brand new home.
Just when you’re down on your luck, it goes to show that playing the lotto maybe isn’t that bad of an idea.
