Florida Mom Instigates Fight Between Two Kids, Then Joins In
Jamie Gensler of Orange City, Fl, was arrested after authorities said she told her son to start a fight with another child. She even joined the fight herself.
Here’s what happened. Gensler approached the victim and confronted him about knocking over their basketball hoop the night prior. After a few words were exchanged she called out her own son and reportedly instructed him to fight the victim.
The two children started to fight, and being the good mom she is, Gensler was shouting advice and cheering on her son from the sidelines. She is reported to have yelled at her child to hit him in “the balls and gut.”
She eventually got tired of playing cheerleader to her son and wanted to play as a teammate because she also jumped in, punching the victim in the head and repeatedly slapping him as he was trying to get up off of the ground.
The fight was caught on cellphone video captured by neighbors and her knuckles were all bruised. After being questioned by police, she admitted to instigating and cheering on her son’s fight.
The charges she faces are contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child abuse.
