Cape Coral Man Gets Six DUIs After Rear End Collision
Blain Stephen Brown, 27, has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence causing serious bodily injury, and four counts of driving under the influence causing property damage.
He was driving northbound on Chiquita in a black Ford F-350 and slammed into a 26-year-old woman that was driving a Hyundai sedan.
The trunk crumpled into the car and she was dragged 182 feet. It ended with them going through two residential front yards and hitting an LCEC pole, snapping it at the base.
They were both taken to the hospital. Blain was treated for minor injuries and was later taken to the Lee County Jail.
Brown had a BAC level of 0.226, above the Florida limit of 0.08.
