Lovers Key Has A New Fence
Lovers Key State Park has started installing a new fence underneath Big Carlos bridge, probably in an effort to fend off late-night party goers.
Chris King said, “There’s a walkthrough there, where you can go through even when the gate is unlocked, but they put a new fence up there.”
Lovers Key charges money to enter the park, and signs clearly say no entrance is allowed after dark, but people still find a way.
It is not clear if the county or some other agency is responsible for the fence as of now.
