Lee County Jail inmates bake cookies for people waiting in line for Covid-19 vaccine
On Tuesday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office passed out cookies and water to people waiting in a long line at the RSW Covid vaccination site.
The cookies were baked by inmates at the Lee County Jail. The inmates are part of a program that helps inmates gain new skills for an easier transition back into society.
Sheriff Carmine Marceno said, “Everybody is here working hard to make certain that everybody is safe and they have the best experience possible,”
NBC2 has made a list of updates on vaccination sites.
