Man Plants Camera In Home Of Ex-Girlfriend And Tries To Change Her Locks After Breaking In
Brendon Dawson of Collier County was arrested after stalking his girlfriend, breaking into her home, and setting up a secret video camera.
Deputies responded to a call about a dog on the loose at an apartment complex nearĀ US 41 and Davis Boulevard on Tuesday. Deputies were able to locate the dog but noticed the door to an apartment was left ajar. As it turns out, deputies responded to a report of a break-in attempt at this residence before.
The woman who lived there was not present at the time and deputies noted heavy damage to the door.
Dawson was not permitted to be at the home. He had been texting and calling the woman non-stop for weeks and threatened her.
When she got home, she found a camera that wasn’t there before and it appears that he attempted to change the locks.
Dawson was booked in the Naples jail.
