Woman Tries To Hide In Canal After Crashing Her Car Off Of McGregor

Krystal Whitney has been arrested for resisting arrest without violence and leaving the scene of a crash.
She drove her car between two homes off McGregor Boulevard, striking a tree. She then got out of her car and attempted to hide in the mangroves of the canal.
Witnesses believe that she was drunk or on drugs.
Deputies easily found her in the mangroves and were able to pull her out.
Her motives for being in that area are still uncertain.
