One Person Beaten And Another Stabbed At Naples Apartment Complex
Tanorish Tarell Jones, 30, has been arrested and charged with burglary with assault or battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
The incident happened at Briar Landings apartments off Wildwood Lakes Boulevard.
When deputies arrived, a man with a stab wound could be seen walking around. He had a stab wound in the stomach, a cut on his left knee, and a large cut on his left elbow. He said he, “didn’t want to make a big deal about this,” and did not want to press charges.
A second female victim was found crying in front of one of the apartment buildings. She had two bite marks on her shoulder and was bleeding from her nose.
According to reports, the female had known Jones for about a year. The two victims walked into her apartment where Jones was waiting, holding a knife, wearing nothing but a pair of blue boxer briefs, socks, and a GPS monitoring anklet.
Jones went to attack the female but she dodged his strikes. That’s when the male victim was stabbed.
Jones grabbed the woman by the hair and brought her to the couch where he repeatedly punched her in the face. He then dragged her to the bedroom and choked her. He said “We’re going to die together,” and “If I can’t have you then no one can!”
Jones fled the scene after that.
