A Melbourne Sports Bar Is Banning Masks
The Westside Sports Bar And Lounge in Melbourne, Fl, is prohibiting people from wearing masks in their bar.
Owner Gary Kirby said, “We find it completely unnecessary to have facemasks at all. We do not support them; we do not believe in them.”
Anyone who enters the bar wearing a mask will be asked to take it off or they will forced to leave.
The owner also said that this is because of security reasons. Supposedly, a crime was committed inside the bar and the man could not be identified because he was wearing a mask.
Kirby claims that his business is booming because of this new rule and he also claims that he is not breaking the law by doing this because his bar also serves food. He also claims that he has received death threats and he refuses to back down.
