Immokalee Man Tries To Steal Purse And Beats Person With A Belt
Arturo Lopez, was arrested for robbery and battery on Wednesday after trying to mug a woman.
The victim was walking home on North 5th St when Arturo approached her and demanded money. She denied him. That’s when he grabbed her purse and punched her in the face.
A local bystander tried to stop the attack. Arturo then turned his attention to the other person and attacked with his belt before running away.
He was found a couple streets over trying to hide and was quickly arrested.
