A Guy Without a Pilot’s License Isn’t Allowed to Rent a Plane, So He Stole One . . . and Crashed

A 59-year-old guy named Richard Jordal went to a small plane rental shop in Astoria, Oregon on Tuesday and tried to rent a plane. But they told him no because he didn’t have a pilot’s license.
So he went back later that night, STOLE the keys to a plane, and flew it anyway.
And then he CRASHED it in Olympic National Park near La Push, Washington.
Navy rescue crews found him about 12 hours later and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
