Harborside Events Center Changes Name To Caloosa Sound Convention Center And Amphitheater
Harborside Events Center has been a staple of the Southwest Florida Community for more than 27 years now. It is now set to reopen in September. But this time, under new owners and a new name.
The Caloosa Sound Convention Center And Amphitheater is set to reopen this September with it’s first event, The Annual Fort Myers Home And Garden Show.
The building is undergoing a remodel and restoration. So you can say goodbye to that old pink and green color scheme that we grew to love, and say hello to the more modern black and white scheme.
The Amphitheater is still in its planning phases, but plans on having it in Centennial Park with a stage, bandshell, and enough space to fit 3000 people. Fort Myers City Council will need to approve the plans.
