Drunk, Drugs or Crazy: Florida Man eludes police, throws prosthetic leg out of window mid-chase
Joshua Sanders led cops on a chase thru Lee County this week, during which he threw out of his car window: plastic bags, his headrest….and his prosthetic leg!
The Fort Myers police responded to a call of a suspicious car at the Howard Johnson hotel.
When they arrived, Joshua backed up his white Acura, nearly hitting two Fort Myers officers, before taking off.
Several minutes later, a Lee County deputy saw Joshua speeding with a flat tire. His car began smoking from the flat tire, as he continued driving the wrong direction on streets before jumping onto I-75.
According to NBC 2 News, as officers pursued Joshua, he started “throwing things out of his window, such as plastic bags his seat headrest, and his prosthetic leg” before he “intentionally slammed into an unmarked deputy’s vehicle on I-75.”
Joshua already had a warrant out for his arrest for violating his probation and had a suspended license.
