#FloridaMen Stoners break into convenience store, steal rolling papers
Last Thursday, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to Lutfor George’s convenience, after two burglars triggered the alarm system by using a brick paver to smash the glass of the front door.
After breaking the glass on the front door, the two burglars stole as many rolling papers as they could, then ran off.
18-year-old Chaise Grimes was arrested after the owner watched the surveillance video, and recognized Chaise’s long hair.
According to NBC 2 News, “the description of long hair by the owner, and the questioning of two regular customers, who happened to be friends with the suspect led to his arrest.
Grimes admitted to his friend that he stole the rolling papers. Deputies went to his home and found the stolen rolling papers and the tools he used to break into the store.
He is still in jail, and he faces charges for burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Grimes’ partner-in-crime was also arrested for his role in the burglary. The accomplice’s identity hasn’t been released since he is a minor, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.”
