#FloridaMan barricades himself in Circle K, breaks open some cold ones
23-year-old Kendrick Hubbell barricaded himself inside the Circle K, then broke open some cold ones while holding police at bay.
It happened around 1:30AM Thursday morning.
23-year old Kendrick Hubbell ran inside the Circle K on Cape Parkway E. in Cape Coral, and barricaded himself.
Employees ran outside and called 911.
According to NBC 2 News, “Officers were able to call Hubbell’s phone, but he was refusing to leave the back storage room. He became vulgar and said, ‘I’m not coming out unless the police come in here and shoot me.’
Eventually, CCPD officers entered the store and were talking with Hubbell through the door. He was demanding chocolate milk and other snacks from throughout the store before he would exit.
Using a ram to open the door, officers were eventually able to get Hubbell out of the store and into the custody of CCPD.”
Inside the storage room, cops found that Hubbell had drank one Four Loko, one Mike’s Hard Black Cherry, one Smirnoff Ice, and took one pack of Marlboro Menthol Lights cigarettes.
