Drunk, Drugs or Crazy: Port Charlotte woman calls 911 on herself!
Tonight’s contestant in Drunk, Drugs or Crazy is Port Charlotte resident Jennica Helton. Jennica crashed her car into a car port and took off!
According to NBC 2 News, “Jennica Helton blamed lighting a cigarette to the 911 dispatcher as her reason for her car slamming into a carport.
Helton’s car veered off the road barely missing a tree, and wound up slamming into Glenda Fleming’s carport.
Instead of stopping and remaining on scene, Helton reversed her car and took off.
Fleming said the impact of the crash just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday sounded like a bomb had gone off.
Fleming’s car was totaled. The concrete carport was wiped out as well, and there were still fresh tire marks.
She told deputies she had a couple of beers and she left the scene because she was scared.
Deputies would later arrest Helton but she was released shortly after.
She is facing a charge of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.”
