Community Notes On X Call Out Wannabe Influencer
People love bragging on the internet. You can use and manipulate social media to make yourself look however you want to come off. Want to look rich? You can make that happen! Desire to look hot and attractive? There are countless filters that will make you look how you’ve always dreamed. However, it does come with risk. Community Notes on X has been repeatedly calling out a wannabe influencer!
Be careful on the internet. Wouldn’t it be embarrassing if you’re trying to flex and brag, only for it to be slapped with a formal notice that you’re not telling the truth? Brutal. Well, it happened (and keeps happening) to this guy!
Community Notes On X Call Out Wannabe Influencer
X (formerly Twitter) user @allnick has been getting attention on social media lately–and not for the best of reasons! In his X bio, @allnick identifies himself as Nick O’Neill, a co-founder and CEO of BoDoggos an NFT project. So, we already know the type of dude in question. Seriously, is there anyone more annoying on social media than the Crypto Bros? Especially today! A few years ago, it was in and popular. I thought people had caught on by now.
Like most Crypto Bros, Nick wants to make you think he’s very rich and successful. So, he took to X to show off his alleged lifestyle. First, he shared a video giving a cheers to the haters who are “click clacking on Twitter from your mom’s basement” and says he’s fine sipping his $5,000 champagne and advices viewers to “choose rich.” Every syllable he speaks makes me cringe. Surely, he’s joking and it’s all a bit, right? I don’t think so.
Video 1: Fake Champagne?
However, a problem was quickly noticed with his video. X added a Community Note of reader added context saying, “The bottle Nick is holding does not cost $5000, and is in fact a bottle of Taittinger Champagne that costs less than $85.” Ouch! Called out. With these Community Notes, you can’t see the original post without seeing the disclaimer. Check out the video he shared to X below.

Video 2: Fake Chauffeur?
Naturally, this didn’t sit well with Nick and his very fragile ego. So, he posted another video. In this video, he calls out the Community Notes. He’s shown talking about people discussing how his champagne wasn’t real and how they’re “rooting for his downfall.” Then, he boasts about his chauffeur who drives him to his $3,000 high tea service in New York City before telling people to “choose rich.”
Well, another alleged lie was detected by Community Notes. This time, the disclaimer read, “It is visible in the reflection of his sunglasses that the driver is wearing street clothe and not the formal attire that a private chauffeur would wear. He is clearly in a Lyft or Uber.” See this video below.

Video 3: Fake Private Theatre?
However, it didn’t end there. That’s right! It happened again! This time, he greets the haters and attempts to shut down the conversation that his chauffeur is just an Uber driver. Then, he brags about how he doesn’t care and will be just fine kicking off his weekend screening “Scarface” in his alleged private movie theatre. Again, he concluded his message by advising people to “Choose rich.” Well, it was also hit with a disclaimer.
The third disclaimer read, “It is visible in the camera lens that ‘my private movie theatre’ is not in fact his nor much-private. It is a shared screening room ‘within Brooklyn Point doubles as a performance space, giving residents and their guests the opportunity to showcase their talents.'”
Check out the third video and disclaimer below!

Honestly, I’m really hoping this is all a joke. There’s no way one human can be so unbearable! However, I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg. What do you think? Is it a joke or is he really like this?
