Man Busted Putting Antiques Up His Butt Then Back On Shelf

Well, if you're looking for another reason to be a homebody and never leave the house...we've got you covered! A man in Texas was busted putting antiques up his butt before putting them back on a shelf.

Can you imagine having to shop for items after that? Are you telling me anything I grab at my local store could have been up someone's butt? Let's dive in.

The whole thing was captured on surveillance footage at an antique store in Spring, Texas. In the video, the male customer is seen wearing a kilt and concealing items under his clothes before returning them back to the shelf.

According to FOX 26 Houston, Susan Golden, the manager of The Antique Gallery of Houston, said, "I had to watch it a couple of times to be sure I knew what I was looking at." Golden says in two decades of running the store, she's never seen anything like this. I definitely believe her. That would be hard to top.

The cameras spotted him doing this in several sections of the store, after it was brought to management's attention by a dealer, per FOX 26 Houston. The items are estimated to be worth close to $200.

Turns out, he wasn't alone. He was joined in the store by a female companion. The two of them reportedly spent hours in the store, but didn't make any purchases, according to FOX 26 Houston. That's a long time! Already shady behavior without having to put anything up his butt.

Well, it looks like he has a thing for doing this in antique shops in the area. FOX 26 Houston reports that he has been spotted in other antique stores in Galveston and Tomball.

The shop has removed the items from its shelves and has sanitized the gallery. Good decision.
