Getting freaky and trying something new can come with some risks! You could end up pulling a muscle or having something go seriously wrong if you don't execute it correctly! We don't want that to happen. Your bedroom experiences should be filled with pleasure and not end with a trip to the Emergency Room. Seriously, it happens more often than you'd think.

To get to the bottom of it, Love Honey surveyed more than 2,000 Brits to determine the most common bedroom disasters. They also found in which cities you're most likely to experience a sex injury, and the positions that are deemed most risky that could lead to an injury.

Sure, this data is from the UK, but I think it can still be applied to us over here. I mean, how different can it be? Seriously, is it different over there?

When the data was compiled, the most common sex injury was carpet burn. According to Love Honey, 65% of people have suffered that at some point during their love making sessions. There are plenty of ways to get carpet burn during intercourse. Doing it on the ground is a common way, and anything on your knees could lead to carpet burn.

After that, bruises was the most common with 54% of people reporting having been bruised during a session at some point, per Love Honey. The Top 5 is rounded out by pulled muscle, UTI, and a back injury. All totally believable and I can see these being common.

Also featured on the Top 10 was vaginal tear, hemorrhoids, penis fracture, broken penis, and a "stuck foreign object," according to Love Honey. So, now you know. Be safe out there, friends!

According to the survey, the most hazardous position is Doggy Style. According to Love Honey, half of Brits have experienced an injury in doggy style. The next dangerous position was somehow Missionary. I feel like that would be the safest and most common. Ah, perhaps because it's so common more injuries happen. That makes sense.
