Love Triangle Takes Deadly Turn For The Worst
You’ve probably heard of crazy ex-girlfriends or boyfriends. However, most don’t hold a candle to this ex from across the pond. According to DailyMail, a jealous ex-girlfriend allegedly murdered her former flame’s new lover and this love triangle turned deadly.
The unfortunate events started when Trevor Dibnah, 65, left Sara McKenzie, after they had been dating for 13 years, according to reports. Dibnah started seeing an old friend, Joy Boulton.
Dibnah, according to DailyMail, had previously believed Boulton was dead. Turns out she wasn’t! So, the pair struck up a relationship.
This didn’t settle well with Dibnah’s ex McKenzie. Once she found out about the relationship, she reportedly brutally murdered Boulton and created a cover-up.
Police were able to see past the cover-up, and now McKenzie faces the possibility of being behind bars for life.
Dibnah reportedly told police that McKenzie had been trying to lure him back, but with no success. At no point did they suspect that their lives were in danger.
As for any chance of them getting back together one day? Dibnah shut that down promptly saying, “She should die in jail. There should be no years of freedom for her.”
According to Daily Mail, investigators found traces of Boulton’s blood in McKenzie’s bath, using luminol which is a substance used to identify traces of blood.
According to the report, she showed zero remorse and even went to work as she normally would.
She was eventually captured on police body cam footage at the scene of the murder with no visible concern for the victim.
According to Daily Mail, Joy’s family paid tribute to her in saying, “We are deeply devastated by this senseless act of violence which has changed our lives for ever.” They continued, “Joy was a very caring person, who was always ready to help other people whenever she could despite having many health and mobility problems herself. She fought many health problems over the years but always battled on. She will be forever missed and always loved. May you rest in peace.”
