Frightening Video of a Charging African Rhino That Will Not Stop
A rhinos is seen at Shamwari game reserve outside Gqeberha on April 5, 2023. - New wind turbines projects bordering the world famous Addo Elephant National Park in South Africa, home of over 600 elephants, has stirred anger and outcry from activists and private reserves owners, who say the impact of the new turbines would collapse eco tourism that now fund most of animal conservation projects in the area. Going on an African safari probably comes with a lot of thrills and excitement but the people in this video got more than they bargained for that’s for sure. See some lions they thought. Maybe some giraffes eating leaves, a couple of elephants playing in a watering hole, you know the the safe stuff. But a MASSIVE rhinoceros springing full speed (which is shockingly fast) at you couldn’t have been on their itinerary. Check out this TikTok posted by user ‘@WildlyAfrica’ where you can see a full grown rhino charging at a group of people while they are driving away…in REVERSE!
Rhinos can actually run really fast and there’s no doubt if the rhino caught up to this Jeep, it would have squashed it and most likely the people inside as well.
The dude driving has some major skills to be able to go backwards, as long as he did and as fast as he was able to. It was a straight away but there is no room for error when a frightening, pissed off wild rhino is barreling at your vehicle.
This rhino was not going to give up, it runs for a straight minute, only slowing down occasionally to catch it’s breath.
The internet is full of safari gone wrong videos and terrifying encounters with African wild animals. One we remember is of a wild, gigantic hippopotamus charging at a boat going full speed in an African body of water.
The statistics aren’t very good on how many people are killed by rhinos every year but that doesn’t mean it never happens. These people sure were lucky they had such a bad ass, calm, getaway driver to floor it in reverse and save their butts. Do you think you’d have what it takes to reverse away from this charging rhinoceros?

Now that the Thanksgiving meal is behind us and we are all still feeling more than stuffed, it’s time we shift our focus. To more food! Here, we’ll cut into four great dinner options to feed the whole family at Christmas dinner.
Yes, Thanksgiving requires a lot of hours in the kitchen. Prepping a turkey, maybe even frying one, takes some proper attention. Then, to some, the most important part is the sides that go with the main attraction. Again, making these side dishes means cooking up a storm. However, perhaps we underappreciate the art of this meal. For the most part, the menu is designed for us. Furthermore, it is consistent every year. All you have to decide is how much to make based around how many people will be gathered around your table.
Fast forward a month, and it’s time to prepare another epic holiday meal. In addition to running around to grab last-minute gifts, if you are hosting a Christmas get-together you have to do a lot of preparing, again.
The Magic of Christmas Cooking
Here, we are going to break down some options to jump-start your Christmas prep. First, let’s set the table on some criteria, and some bust some myths. You certainly do not need to reinvent the wheel and cook up something extraordinarily unique. In fact, it’s best to keep it simple. Dozens of classic dishes have already been well-established as delicious to satisfy your family, friends, and guests.
The thought process in suggesting these four Christmas dinner options is that they are proven to be delightful. They can also be prepared in large batches that do not require a tremendous amount of hours in the kitchen. These meals are family-friendly and are sharable. Some of them you may even be able to combine together. Again, this list won’t spark an idea that’s never been cooked up. Perhaps it just serves as a simple reminder that these Christmas dinner menu items can be straightforward and delicious enough.
