Florida Teens Arrested After Crashing Through Fort Myers Cemetery Fence
Two Florida teens were arrested by the Fort Myers Police Department after crashing a car through a cemetery fence last week. According to Fox4, officers were called to Cederbend Drive after homeowners saw two people stealing things from unlocked cars. The suspects then fled the neighborhood in a white car.
Officers tried to pull them over, but instead the suspects chose not to do so. They eventually crashed through a fence at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens on Colonial Boulevard near Summerlin Road. FMPD said the two teens ran from the Fort Myers Cemetery to Bates Circle and began knocking on doors. That’s where police caught up with them, cuffed them, and took them to jail.
Fort Myers Police would like to remind people to lock their doors and not leave valuable items in unattended vehicles. In other words, please use common sense.
