“Florida man” just keeps coming up with ways to surprise us. This particular Florida man stole a scooter from a Palm Coast Target, but was busted when caught putting it together right outside the store.  Although we must consider the possibility that he just stole his getaway vehicle, which is of course a terrible idea if that getaway vehicle requires some assembly.

According to FlaglerLive/3 News, the 28 year-old man shoplifted a Razor electric scooter from Target worth $540. A store employee observed the man walking out of the store with the scooter in a cart without paying for it and called police. Surveillance cameras caught the guy loading the scooter into his cart.

When the cops showed up, Florida Man was still on the sidewalk outside putting the scooter together. He didn’t have a car, so he wanted to put the scooter together to make his getaway. He ended up being arrested for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. He told the police he was homeless and grabbed the scooter so he cut have some transportation.

Mayor Of Tampa Renames City Ahead Of Taylor Swift Concerts

Taylor Swift is coming to Tampa this weekend and the Mayor of the city just made a huge announcement.

This Thursday, Friday and Saturday Taylor Swift will be playing Raymond James Stadium. To celebrate, the Mayor of Tampa, Jane Castor, is giving Swift the key to the city and even invited her to be the honorary Mayor for a day.

In addition, much like how Glendale, AZ renamed itself to “Swift City” ahead of Taylor’s concerts there, Hillsborough County has renamed itself to “Swiftsborough”. Whether you’re going to the concert and want to avoid the long lines, or just want to get your hands on some merch, there’s good news.
