Cocaine Prank?
A Man Thought His Arrest For Selling Cocaine Was A Prank
This is a new excuse. We’ve heard the classic of a person telling the police that the drugs weren’t theirs. They’ve also tried to say they pants they had on, weren’t theirs either. But for this guy at Penn State University, he thought the arrest that was taking place was a prank.
According to WJAC, “A Pittsburgh-area man is in custody in Centre County, accused of selling cocaine from a Penn State fraternity house. Police arrested 22-year-old Thomas Robinson Friday at the Delta Upsilon fraternity house in State College. According to authorities, confidential informants purchased cocaine from Robinson five times over a three-month period at the fraternity. WJAC reports, “Robinson thought his arrest was a prank being played on him by his fraternity brothers, according to the Centre Daily Times. He also repeatedly told the arresting officers he was going to “[expletive] you up,” the story said.”
Frat bros are known for their pranking, but this seems like an extreme thing for ever the douchiest of frat brothers. You have to be really crazy or really stupid to think that the cops arresting you is just a prank. Especially when you’re selling all sorts of drugs. They aren’t going to let that go down.
So, we’ll see what happens to Thomas Robinson. He’s facing a lot of charges and had a lot of drugs. Can’t imagine it’s going to be good for him. And, we hope he has a good sense of humor, but it seems like he doesn’t! We know that cops arresting the dealers of this magnitude usually aren’t in a joking mood, and don’t like being told to eff off.
