Australian Man Finds Toilet Clogged By A Python Twice In The Same Week
An Australian man found a toilet clogged by a python twice in the same week! I’d be scared to go to the bathroom after that!
There are some things you hope to never find in your toilet. A snake would have to be one of them. If you were unlucky enough to find one it would certainly be a scare. You’d remove it and assume that you’ve had your bad luck for the week. Certainly, you wouldn’t find a toilet clogged by a python twice in the same week? Not so fast! It sounds like that’s what happened to this guy and it could cause some serious trauma looking into the toilet! You don’t want to be scared to go to the bathroom but that probably would happen if you find a toilet clogged by a python two times in one week.
Did A Man Find A Toilet Clogged By A Python Twice In One Week?
Opening the toilet to a surprise is unfortunately more common than you’d think. However, usually that surprise is that your roommate forgot to flush, or something like that. What’s not as common is finding a snake in there. What’s even more uncommon is finding a toilet clogged by a python twice in one week! Can you imagine?
According to The New York Post, it happened in Queensland, Australia and Hervey Bay Snake Catchers were called to remove the coastal carpet python from a toilet. It’s believed the snake was relaxing in the toilet trying to soak its skin before shedding. It’s all part of the process, I guess. The Snake Catchers described the encounter on Facebook saying, “It managed to get right into the S bend, so we had to cut the pipe under the house, poke from one end, and flush from the other. It eventually got annoyed enough to come out and see us and Jonsey took one for the team and dove on in there to grab it.” Leave it to Jonsey. Of course Jonsey was willing to dive in there.
We should note that the coastal pythons are nonvenomous and are essentially harmless to humans. However, you still don’t want one in your toilet! Days later, residents heard a hiss coming from the pipes. I’d feel like I was in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at that point. It was later found and it ended up being the same species as the other snake pulled out of the pipes days earlier! It’s believed this one was a male who smelled the path of the female snake that was chilling in the pipes days earlier, per The New York Post. It would be so scary to have that happen! However, to the snake catchers it was just another day on the job.
