Lookalike contests are pretty popular. There are a lot of doppelgangers in the world and even more people who think they like look a celebrity. In New York City, there was a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest where the winner was able to claim a prize of $50. And, what’s better than the person you think you look like, showing up. Well, that’s what happened in New York.
According to NY Post, Timothée Chalamet showed up unannounced to a lookalike contest of himself at a gathering in New York City. There were hundreds of people in attendance and when he was noticed, took pictures and signed autographs with fans. The police ended up busting up the event because it was getting out of control. Its reported by NY Post that chaos erupted because he showed up and people started to freak out.
NY Post reports that the winner was 21-year-old Miles Mitchell. He claimed a $50 grand prize and a $250 trophy for looking the most like Timothée Chalamet. He was dressed like Chalamet in Willy Wonka. If anyone from the show was in attendance, and looked like him, we’d definitely be in ‘Dune’ garb, not Wonka.

We’ve never had a Dave and Chuck the Freak lookalike contest but we can imagine it would be pretty entertaining. We already get tons of messages about people on the show looking like other people in the world. You’ve probably heard Chuck say it before that any bald guy with a beard is usually mistaken for him. Jason has received some messages about local roofing guys and other bald, bearded men who look like him.
Don’t get your hopes up. I don’t think this contest will actually ever happen. I’m not so sure it would break out into chaos either, but the $50 grand prize sounds like it’s right up our alley!
