Costco Unveils Plans for Second Collier County Store With Fuel Station and Liquor Outlet
Plans for a new Costco at Rattlesnake Hammock Road and Collier Boulevard are moving forward. The 158,316-square-foot store will include a gas station and its own liquor store in East Naples.
The 26-acre site is currently wooded, with four acres reserved for future retail development. Next to the main store, crews will construct a 2,000-square-foot liquor store — following plans from last fall.
“Costco hasn’t even bought that land. They have a deal with the landowner that, subject to county approval for construction, they will then buy the land. We are pretty far away from any type of approval,” said Commissioner Rick LoCastro to Gulf Shore Business.
The store will feature a full-service tire center inside, while shoppers can check out walk-in coolers stocked with dairy products and fresh produce. Company representatives met with county officials in January 2024 to go over building plans.
