New Salad Restaurant Plans Spring Opening in Cape Coral
Salad King is set to open at 1622 Del Prado Blvd S in Cape Coral this spring. The company plans to expand throughout Southwest Florida with six locations.
The kitchen will source fresh ingredients from local Florida farms. Inside, customers can create their own salads at a salad bar or choose from ready-made selections. Self-serve kiosks will make ordering quick and easy.
Kitchen staff prepares everything in-house – from simmering soups to freshly made dressings and warm croutons daily. Customers can add protein options like grilled chicken, steak, wild salmon, fresh shrimp, or seasoned tofu.
They’ll handle office deliveries in the area too. After careful consideration, the owners chose Cape Coral for their flagship location, planning to open as winter ends.
Salad King joins other restaurants in the area partnering with local farmers. Establishments like La Corte Bistro and The Westin Cape Coral already feature locally sourced ingredients.
The success of places like Blossom & Brie shows growing local demand for farm-fresh food. More customers are interested in knowing their food’s origin.
They picked the Del Prado Boulevard location for its mix of residential and business traffic. The space caters to both dine-in customers and those needing quick takeout options.
This initial spot kicks off broader expansion plans in Southwest Florida. While future locations aren’t announced yet, five more restaurants are planned across the area.
