Cape Coral Arts Festival Marks 40 Years Despite Rain
Southwest Florida’s Cape Coral Arts Festival pulled in hundreds of visitors despite the rain on Jan. 10, 2025, celebrating four decades of community backing.
Though rain threatened to dampen the day, blue skies emerged just in time. Art enthusiasts strolled past vibrant displays, while craftspeople showcased their pieces at bustling stalls.
Moss Marina’s Cori Weilland expressed early concerns about the morning turnout. “Definitely a little worried, seeing that rain was coming in. Maybe the crowds wouldn’t be as big this morning,” Weilland said.
“Rain doesn’t stop people here. They still come out,” Bill DeHaven, a member of Monster Entertainment Group told Wink News.
An American Stomper monster truck wowed the crowd, while crowds browsed the booths featuring art, jewelry, and chocolates.
