Killer Bees Attack Florida Man: 120 Stings and Huge Fall
Surviving Killer bees is quite a feat. But combine that with a 30 foot fall?! Now, that is impressive. Meet our Florida man, Jon Christian. My guy might be the toughest dude in Brevard County. This man went head-to-head with a swarm of angry bees and gravity…and lived to talk about it! According to WESH, he was 30 feet in the air trimming tree in Citrus County when he accidentally smacked into a beehive. Not your regular bees, either. These were the deadly kind. Killer bees!
These bugs were mad too. They came at him like he owed them money. They were in his hair, on his face, all over him. He got stung 120 times, with 50 of those stings hitting his head. To make things even worse, he hit the wrong switch on his bucket truck and got stuck up there. Now dangling 30 feet in the air, getting lit up by all those bees must have been horrible, because Someone on the ground yelled, “Jump!” And this guy actually did it.
When Killer Bees Attack:
Now, most of us would have been done for after a fall like that, but not Jon. He landed on a roof, rolled right off, hit the ground, and the bees still wouldn’t let up. His crew finally dragged him out of the swarm and rushed him to the hospital.
Here’s the most insane part of the story… No broken bones, no internal bleeding, and he’s allergic to bees! A doctor even said he is either made of steel or he’s the luckiest guy alive. This dude is a walking talking miracle!
Experts say these weren’t your friendly neighborhood honey bees. These were Africanized honey bees. Killer bees, they are meaner, faster, and… Well, stingier. Luckily Jon’s back home now, recovering and He’s already bought bee suits for the crew, just in case. Though he may want to a a cape to that outfit. He might have super powers. Just saying…
