Florida Man Finds Divine Intervention After Being Arrested for Church Burglary
Karma is very real and one Florida man learned the hard way after being arrested for church burglary in Pensacola.
Of all the things the Florida Man is capable of doing, I shouldn’t be surprised by anything. But this guy didn’t just rob one church, but a total of 7. Jesus is always watching and when you’re in his house, I feel like you’re just asking for it. Pretty sure there’s even something that says “Thou shall not steal”. But this Florida man didn’t seem worried.
Florida Man Finds Divine Intervention After Being Arrested for Church Burglary
Police have arrested 20-year old Jeremy Lang has been arrested in connection with a church burglary in Pensacola. Maybe divine intervention played a part. When police finally caught up with him after seeing him on surveillance footage, they found tools indicating he was up to no good including a loaded stolen firearm, a window breaker tool, black gloves and a metal coat hanger. They also found a bag of marijuana and an iPhone. And you may think, ok, everyone has an iPhone these days. But it’s what was found on that iPhone that’s most telling.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, after they arrested Lang, police went through his phone and what popped up in Jeremy’s searches? A variety of things like: “how to cut a shirt into a ninja mask”, “where do church keep money”, “do churches have safes” and “Ways to make quick money illegal reddit”.
But don’t think Lang hit it big. At one church, he made out with $20. At another, he got a mason jar filled with change. So while he thought maybe churches would be easy targets, he sure didn’t get the payday he thought he would. He did, however, cause hundreds of dollars worth of damage.
Lang is being held in the Escambia County Jail where he’ll have plenty of time to pray and ask for forgiveness.
