Someone Isolated Perry Farrell’s Vocals From The Night Of The Jane’s Addiction Fight And It’s Bad
Someone isolated Perry Farrell’s vocals from the night of the Jane’s Addiction fight and it is bad. He sounds terrible and comes off like a real jerk.
The fight between members of Jane’s Addiction was heard all around the world. It was the biggest story not only in rock but in the world for a while. It appears that what all of us saw play out on stage was only the tip of the iceberg and much more happened behind the scenes. Now, someone has isolated Perry’s vocals from the night of the Jane’s Addiction fight and it does not sound good.
What Was Said During The Jane’s Addiction Fight?
It was an ugly sight watching the fight playout. Especially if you’re a fan of the band! You knew right away that this is not good and this won’t just be brushed off. When you try to come at your bandmate (or co-worker for many of us) while working it’s never a good sign. Regardless of what you do for a living, you don’t want to be seen trying to aggressively approach your co-workers like that and even throw a punch at them. It won’t end well. This clearly didn’t either.
According to Loudwire, the audio was shared by Dan Cleary, who’s a longtime friend of the band and worked as the guitar tech and bass tech during the reunion tour. Speaking on his podcast, Clearly says, “The first [NYC[ show was the worst show I’ve ever seen in my life–I’m not saying just with Jane’s; it was the worst show I’ve ever seen…He didn’t know where he was in the songs. He didn’t know the words. He was singing words from other songs. Those are not sound issues…And also, he had a bunch of fantastic shows throughout the tour. The sound doesn’t change–we’re the same all the time.” It sounds like it was a disaster of massive proportions. When someone who works in the industry says it’s the worst show they’ve ever seen–you know that holds some weight and means something.
There were lots of explicative coming from his mouth and a lot of F-Bombs. Perry did later apologize. He released a statement separate from the one the band released saying, “This weekend has been incredibly difficult and after having the time and space to reflect, it is only right that I apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, fans, family and friends for my actions during Friday’s show. Unfortunately, my breaking point resulted in inexcusable behavior, and I take full accountability for how I chose to handle the situation,” per Loudwire.
