Shopping at one Daniels Parkway location is about to come to a halt. Rumor has it that the Publix, located on the corner of Ben C. Pratt Six Mile Cypress and Daniels Parkway, in the Daniels Crossing Plaza in Fort Myers, will be closing their doors on June 22nd, 2024.

Cashiers at the Daniels Parkway location have been telling customers that the store will close on June 22 for approximately one year as the store undergoes a remodel. While the remodel will ensure shopping will continue to be a pleasure at this Publix location, it will certainly be inconvenient while the works takes place.
On the Nextdoor app, residents along the Daniels corridor are sharing their personal thoughts on the store closing. While there are other Publix locations in the vicinity, folks are claiming that prices at other Publix stores are more expensive. And more than just shopping, these regular shoppers will have to move their prescriptions to another location, which can be done, but is an inconvenient hassle in some cases.
Other Daniels Parkway Publix Locations To Consider
I am personally a shopper at the Fiddlesticks Publix, which is probably one of the closest locations to use while the other undergoes the changes. I can confirm that prices at this Publix have gone up over the last few months and years. I guess I didn’t realize that prices weren’t the same across all locations.
