Did Hugh Jackman Use Fake Muscles In Deadpool & Wolverine?
Did Hugh Jackman use fake muscles in Deadpool & Wolverine? That’s what the internet is asking after the first trailer for the highly-anticipated movie was released earlier this week.
Naturally, we can’t just enjoy a quality trailer. No, we have to pick it apart, it’s human nature. So, are those muscles real or fake? Let’s dive in.
Hugh Jackman Looks Jacked In Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer
Look, Hugh Jackman looks great! Especially at 55-years-old! However, the internet saw the trailer and how jacked he looked and they aren’t believing it’s the truth. They’re thinking it’s CGI or prosthetics.
Now, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld is attempting to put the rumors to bed. Liefeld took to X (formerly Twitter) to address what’s being said on the internet. He claims that Jackman’s biceps are “the REAL DEAL.” Hey, they don’t call him Jackman for nothing.
Hey, I was right there in person and those massive Hugh Jackman biceps are the REAL DEAL. Dude was jacked!! I’ve been seeing folks talk of him wearing fake muscles… WHAT??? No. I touched em! pic.twitter.com/QPd0kaR6tP

Linfeld even said he touched them himself and he says they are real. Looking at the muscles in the picture above, I can see why they aren’t believing it. He’s 55! Those look like the arms of a 25-year-old. Plus, he’s a theatre guy! It’s not like he’s some action hero like Chris Hemsworth. He’s a thespian.
There are videos on Instagram and social media of Hugh Jackman working out. So, he definitely has been in the gym. Maybe these guns are real. If so, good for him! He’s looking healthy and ripped. Honestly, I saw the trailer and thought it was Chuck. The two are starting to look a lot alike.
Hugh Jackman Is Ripped In New Deadpool Trailer
You can’t blame him for getting super ripped ahead of this movie. If you’re starring alongside Ryan Reynolds you’re going to have to look your best in order to compete if you want any of the eyes on you. I imagine that would be difficult for an actor.
Check out the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer that sparked the debate below. What do you think? Real or fake?
