Cardboard Box Bandit Busted in Bizarre Florida Burglary
The cardboard box bandit strikes again. I say that because yet another criminal was stupid enough to use a cardboard box as a disguise. Like that should be criminal as it is. No self-respecting super villain ever wore a cardboard box as a mask. Apparently, nobody told this Florida man,
According to FOX35, there’s this Florida man in Port Orange. The guy has got some real interesting hobbies, I tell ya. So, allegedly, he decides to mask up, taking a piece of cardboard from the trash to disguise himself while he’s breaking into all kinds of places.
Cardboard Box Bandit Strikes:
Now, back on January 2, a panic alarm was blaring at some business. Three cameras were ripped off the wall, and a JBL speaker went missing. Detectives then find a bag of stolen goods chilling in a dumpster out back. And the internet cables for the whole plaza were sliced and diced just hours before the break-in.
So, they check the footage, and it shows some dude on a bike rolling up, trying to hide his mug with a cardboard box. I mean, you cut wires and all that, but you can’t get a cool mask? You use a cardboard box? Lame. Well, Turns out, that same box ends up at the scene of the crime. And get this, the guy’s crawling on all fours like going through stuff behind the front desk. Probably because he can’t see a damn thing.
Well, a couple more burglaries go down, like a month later. Stop N’ Go gets hit, Spectrum cable’s cut, same routine. Then, this guy tries to swipe a coin machine from a laundromat. Because, who can resist a big score like loose change, right?
Cardboard Box Bandit Busted:
So, detectives piece it all together, and guess who’s the man behind the box? Our Florida man, named Alan Gaudreau. And when they finally nab him, what does the master criminal do? He confesses, straight up sings like a bird. This guy admits to everything!
Of course, Alan gets himself an extended sleepover in the slammer for burglary, mischief, and a bit of petty theft. Listen up everyone, crime doesn’t pay, especially when you’re wearing a stupid cardboard box as a disguise.

5 of the Craziest Cringeworthy Crimes Ever Committed
While committing crimes may seem black and white (you either broke the law or you didn’t), there are certainly some crimes that are dumber than others. Sometimes it’s the crime itself that’s wild, other times, it’s the people committing said crimes. These are 5 of the craziest, cringeworthy crimes ever committed.
Crimes can happen anywhere, anytime, to anyone. However, it takes a very unique individual, a case study if you will, to commit some of these outrageously dumb crimes. Years ago, these criminals would have been featured on Spike TV or one of those America’s Dumbest Criminal shows. Today, I’m not sure if those shows are around…and I’m certain Spike TV isn’t around anymore. That’s a story for another time.

Craziest Crimes
Crimes can happen for a number of reasons. They may happen out of necessity. They could also happen on accident. These crimes, however, do not fall into those categories. These crimes are different. None of these would accidentally happen. They also aren’t a matter of life or death. There’s no ethics quiz here, or any matters of ‘would you steal bread to support your family?’ These crimes, and criminals, aren’t straight up cringeworthy.
While all of these crimes are crazy and certainly cringeworthy, they also make for excellent conversation pieces. That’s why I’ve gone and found five examples of the wildest stories that Dave and Chuck the Freak have talked about and made a list highlighting the best of the best. Let’s be honest…what’s better than reading a story about one of the craziest crimes ever committed? Or, watching Dave and Chuck the Freak talk about some of the dumbest crimes ever committed? Personally, I’m going with the funny storytellers.
They add their own two cents and perspectives on these stories that nobody else could provide. Not even those talking heads on the dumbest criminal shows. Am I the only one who remembers those? I feel like they were a staple on TruTV or VH1, but now all I can find on TruTV is Impractical Jokers, which is awesome but…you get it. Let’s not delay! Here’s the list!
