$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold At A Circle K In The Tampa Area
This weekend was a big one for the lottery and a $1 Million Powerball ticket was sold at a Circle K in the Tampa area.
I’m sure we’ve all had dreams of what we we would do if we won the lottery. I always say that while winning the big big bucks would be awesome, really, I’d be happy with a million. I would still continue working, continue to live in Fort Myers, etc. I would just upgrade my car, buy a boat and do a lot of traveling. It would be life-changing to a certain extent, but without the potential danger that could come with a multi-million or billion jackpot. Last week I found some fun things in Southwest Florida that you could buy with the jackpot though and there’s no denying how much fun it would be to spend it.
$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold At Tampa Area Circle K
It hadn’t been since January 1st that the Powerball had a jackpot winner, but that drought came to an end Saturday night. Or rather Sunday morning. There was a delay of a few hours due to pre-draw procedures being incomplete. But eventually the numbers were drawn at 2:29am: 22, 27, 44, 52, 69 and the Powerball, 9. The jackpot was $1.33 billion and the winning ticket was sold in Oregon. After taxes, take home is $621 million. But while there was only 1 winner of the jackpot, there were a few million dollar winners, including one here in Florida. According to Fox 35, the million dollar powerball ticket was sold at a Circle K on Tampa Road in Oldsmar.
Now that the jackpot has been won, it will reset to $20 million. The next drawing is tonight.
