Eddie Vedder and Post Malone performed together last Saturday (Feb. 17) at a charity event, and pro-shot footage has been shared via the Pearl Jam YouTube channel.

Vedder and Malone performed two songs together: Pearl Jam's "Better Man" and Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down." Their duet on "Better Man" can be viewed below.

The charity event that brought Vedder and Malone together was Reportin' for Duty. This was the second edition of this charity event. The first took place in February 2023 as a tribute to actor Leslie Jordan, who died in October 2022. The event also raised funds for the EB Research Partnership, which funds research to treat and cure Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

According to the charity's website, "Epidermolysis Bullosa is a family of life-threatening rare genetic disorders that affect the body's largest organ: the skin. Individuals with EB lack critical proteins that bind the skin's two layers together."

Per the performance's description on YouTube, this year's event raised over $1 million for the EB Research Partnership.

Eddie Vedder hasn't been as prolific with side-projects as his Pearl Jam bandmates: Stone Gossard used to have a band called Brad (R.I.P. Shawn Smith) and currently is a band called Painted Shield; he's also done solo records. Jeff Ament has been part of Three Fish, Tres Mtns. and RNDM, and has put out a bunch of solo songs. Matt Cameron's discography includes a number of projects including Hater, Wellwater Conspiracy, Harrybu McCage and Ten Commandos. Mike McCready, meanwhile, has been a member of Mad Season and the Rockfords.

Vedder, meanwhile, has just three solo albums to his name, so far: but it turns out that he has a pretty impressive discography outside of the band. He's frequently contributed songs to various artist compilations, done one-off singles, and collaborated with other artists. Here are some of our favorite Vedder moments outside of Pearl Jam.
