Florida Woman Beats Boyfriend Using Holiday Decorations
You would think someone with the name Miracle would be nice during the holiday season, but not this Florida woman who beats her boyfriend. 20 year-old Miracle Rivera was arrested and charged for allegedly battering her boyfriend in the face with a glass vase on New Year’s day. According to The Smoking Gun, that incident happened just days after Miracle allegedly beat the same victim with a Christmas tree.
She was arrested Monday and charged with battering her 24-year-old boyfriend inside their Largo residence. The January 1 attack with the glass flower vase left the man with “visible injuries to his face,” according to the police. Miracle was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, which is a felony. A misdemeanor domestic violence charge was added because Miracle allegedly scratched her boyfriend on the face and abdomen in another fight earlier that same morning.
After Miracle’s December 24 arrest for the Christmas tree attack, she was released from jail on Christmas Day. The terms of her release included the judge’s orders of “no illegal contact” with the victim (her live-in boyfriend of two years). The tree attack left her boyfriend with multiple scratches on his upper body and arms.
During her jail intake process, officers at the jail noted her tattoos, one of which ironically reads “Think Positive.”
It’s unclear whether or not her boyfriend still believes in Christmas miracles.
