Splash Mountain Water Selling On Ebay For $$$
I remember standing in line, waiting for my turn on Splash Mountain. The searing August sun was practically unbearable, but the wait was worth it. By the time I sat in the still-saturated fiberglass hull, I was smiling ear-to-ear and ready for the big cool down. The log was filled with happy families and young couples, all floating happily along the route, waiting for the big plunge and the impending wave of cool refreshing water at the bottom.
Walt Disney World’s Splash Mountain water ride has officially gone the way of the Dodo. It’s out of here, past tense, history, archived, like watercolors in the rin. It’s kaput. But fans of the ride have found an interesting way to memorialize the experience…and make a profit.
Do a quick search on Ebay and you’ll see several auctions featuring containers filled with water from the beloved attraction. But that’s not all. You’ll also find a Fast Pass card, which allowed the cardholder to bypass the lines and hop on board the amusement before anyone else. That card is curently priced at $1,300. So far, several of the water bottles have sold in the $100 to $150 range, but more remain.
When it was learned that Magic Kingdom would close Splash Mountain, fans stood in line for hours to get one last ride. Now, all that’s left are the memories…and several small bottles of souvenir water. The canals where the cars used to float are now empty and all that is left are the bottles on Ebay. You still have a chance to win an auction, though. Some of the bottles have days left before they are gone forever. If you’re interested, the $150 bottle of water holds about four ounces of water. That’s some pretty high-priced nostalgia. If you are in the market for some Splash Mountain memorabilia, go to Ebay and search Splash Mountain. But hurry, most of the items will be gone very soon. Celebrity Deaths 2023: Musicians, Entertainers & Cultural Figures We Lost
We’ve had to say goodbye to some big names this year in the worlds of entertainment, sports, politics and beyond. To be frank, it was an absolutely brutal year.
So many giants in music died in 2023. Guitar god Jeff Beck died suddenly in January at age 78 after contracting bacterial meningitis. In February, legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach died at age 94. Singer, actor and civil rights icon Harry Belafonte died in April at age 96 from congestive heart failure. In May, the world lost Tina Turner – the Queen of Rock ‘n Roll – at age 83. Iconic pop singer Tony Bennett died in July at age 96.
The worlds of television and film were not immune to significant loss in 2023. Sitcom mastermind Norman Lear died in December at age 101. Three’s Company star Suzanne Somers died in October at age 76 from an aggressive form of breast cancer. Matthew Perry also died in October. The Friends star was only 54. Bob Barker, longtime host of The Price is Right, died in August at age 99. Paul Reubens, best known for his character Pee-wee Herman, died in July at age 70 following a private battle with cancer.
The sports world was rocked by the deaths of three major wrestling figures. In June, The Iron Sheik (Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri) died at age 81. Then, in August, there were two back-to-back deaths. First, WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk died at age 79. Funk’s hardcore style has been influential to generations of wrestlers that followed. Then, Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) suddenly died at age 36. The young wrestler died after contracting COVID, which exacerbated a heart issue and led to a heart attack.

Sean Roberts was conceived in the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky by two passionate, panel aligning, third shifters who had grown bored with the same ole same ole. Upon birth, he was placed in the trunk of a new Stingray and sent off to find his destiny.
That destiny included several stints on radio stations across the United States. Some played punk country gospel, while others focused on Croatian death metal played backwards.
After many years and many adventures, Sean wound up on The Shark, where he does shots of tequila while playing the most badass tunes ever created by humankind.
He remains humble, however, never forgetting about the lean years...the street corners and dark alleys where he played songs on his car stereo for food and sex.
He's on top and he's never gonna stop LIVING THE DREAM!
