Beehives Stolen In Massive Heist In Lee County
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after nearly 150 beehives were stolen in a massive heist in Lee County.
NBC2 reports that the hives were in a vacant lot at the end of a street in Olga and most of them went missing over the weekend and could be valued at $50,000.
A resident said that to do that, whoever took them would’ve had to know what they were doing and show up with bee suits and equipment to take that many hives.
